About this template
Survey a resin floor job, garage or commercial: each space with its floor areas, joints and cracks, moisture tests against the primer's limits, cove base, doors and drains; then each coat's coverage from its film thickness and volume solids, the liquid and kits, flakes and quartz.
Guide and sources
Walk the floor with the client. Give each space its own section (the garage, the basement, a warehouse zone): measure each area to coat, less what stays bare, and note its condition, the preparation and the surface profile the coating's data sheet asks for (CSP 1 to 10, ICRI 310.2R). Note each joint and crack by type with its length, width and depth: the filler follows, and how each joint is treated depends on whether it moves.
Test the moisture before you bid: calcium chloride (ASTM F1869), relative humidity in the slab (ASTM F2170) or the plastic sheet (ASTM D4263). Compare each reading with the limit of the primer you plan: makers range from 3 lb per 1,000 sq ft per 24 h and 75% relative humidity to much more for moisture-tolerant primers. Check that the slab is at least 3 °C (5 °F) above the dew point. Measure the cove base by wall at its height, and count the doors, drains and transitions.
Under Coating system, one row per coat: its product, area, film thickness and volume solids give its coverage (1,604 sq ft per gallon at 1 mil for 100% solids), your loss gives the liquid, the kit size the kits, rounded up once per product. Flakes and quartz follow from the area, your broadcast rate and the box size. Nothing is pre-filled: every limit, thickness, rate and kit comes from the data sheet of the product you choose.
