About this template
Polish a concrete floor to the look agreed: each area with its aggregate exposure class and appearance level (CPC 2024), the grinding steps, the area ground and hours at your rate, the densifier and guard to buy, and the DOI, gloss and haze readings that verify the level.
Guide and sources
One row per floor area, with what is not polished taken off. Agree the look with the client in the Concrete Polishing Council's 2024 terms: the aggregate exposure (A cream, B fine aggregate, C full aggregate) and the appearance level, from 1 ground (DOI 0 to 9) to 4 highly polished (DOI over 70), haze under 12 at every level.
The steps are yours: each one is a full pass, so the sheet gives the area ground and the hours at your own rate. Ameripolish grinds up to 200 grit resin, densifies, then burnishes at 800 and 1500; Curecrete's spec ties level 2 to 200 to 400 grit and level 4 to 800 grit and finer. The densifier and the guard come from their own data sheets: Ameripolish 3D HS 600 to 800 sq ft per gallon, Laticrete LION HARD two coats on polished concrete, Prosoco LSGuard 2,000 to 3,000; each product is added up and rounded up once.
To verify the level, the CPC asks at least three readings up to 1,000 sq ft and one more per 1,000 or part, before any post-polish treatment: the sheet counts them per area. In the readings table, type the DOI and the two gloss readings; the haze is the 60 degree gloss less the 20 degree (ASTM D4039). Grinding raises silica dust: wet grinding or the maker's dust collector (OSHA Table 1; CSTC 3.25 in Quebec). The client's report shows the areas, the class, the level and the readings; steps, rates and products stay in your team's report.
