About this template
Bed by bed: the edging pieces and stakes from each run's length, and the decorative stone by volume, landscape fabric rolls, bags or bulk tons, per product, rounded up once.
Guide and sources
Bed edging: one row per run, its length measured along the curves, the product, the length of one piece and the overlap where two pieces join (Permaloc ProSlide: 8 or 16 ft sections, at least 2 in of overlap). The sheet counts the pieces from the length each one covers and the stakes from the stakes per piece (Permaloc: 5 per 16 ft section, 3 per 8 ft); both add up per product and round up once.
Decorative stone: one row per bed, its length and width with the curves and plants added or taken out, the stone and its depth (Sable Marco: typically 1 to 2 in), the volume; the landscape fabric rolls from a roll's area and your overlap allowance (Sable Marco: lay a weed barrier first); the bags from the volume on the bag, or the tons from your supplier's bulk density. Volume, bags and tons add up per product.
Nothing comes filled in: the piece length, stakes, bag volume and density are the product's, typed from its label or your supplier. The client's report shows the runs, the beds, the pieces and the stone; the overlaps, densities and allowances stay in your team's report.
