About this template
Flights of concrete steps with their riser and run differences, damage step by step with the patch volume and bags, cracks with the sealant tubes.
Guide and sources
The visit before existing concrete steps are repaired, on one sheet. The flights: one row per flight, where it is, its risers and width, the tallest and shortest riser and the deepest and shallowest run measured (the sheet shows each difference), the landing and the railing.
The damage to repair: one row per damage, step by step, its kind, the patch size once the loose concrete is out (the volume adds up by damage), the bag yield you type (the bags round up at the section total) and the repair planned. The cracks to seal: their length, width and sealant depth and the length a tube fills (the tubes round up at the section total). The hardscape template builds new outdoor steps.
The hints cite without applying: NBC 2020 9.8.4 and IRC 2021 R311.7.5 on rises, runs and their tolerances (for reference, check the code your city enforces), QUIKRETE on repairing steps and on its concrete mix's yield, SAKRETE on its crack sealant, Quebec City on stair permits. The differences are compared to nothing; no structural verdict: a settled step or a stair pulling away is for a professional. No price: the sheet is the measure.
